Architects C.W. & Geo. L Rapp designed the CHICAGO THEATER, a Beaux-Arts Revival Building, in 1921.  Originally designed to be a fantasy motion picture palace. The illusion was successful and remains timeless with its grand proportions, elaborate decoration and magnificent marble.  It was the very first of its kind in the nation and is the oldest surviving in Chicago.
